Oh katharyne thanks for your thoughts on the poem Dark Beauty. It was based on a piece of street art called "Why dont you want me"? and the pain in the eyes of the woman was hard to face. I walked away.. said I can't deal with that. Too close. Then the words just came.. and it hit home because of friend of mine suffered a great loss in the last year and has suffered and been trapped on the other side of the abyss feeling that same thing.. "why don't you want me?" but this is a man... he was left wondering why it all disappeared. So it all came together.
The message is a good one for us all .. the words comfort me too.
